When Baldor Produce needed to relocate their food processing operations and corporate headquarters, they relied on BD Engineering to make their vision a reality. The project consisted of renovating an existing approximately 200,000 sq ft warehouse facility in Hunt’s Point, NY and converting it to produce processing, cold storage, distribution and corporate office space. The design also included the installation of two 750 kVA generators to allow the facility to operate at near capacity during a power failure. This site was also served by a rail spur to bring in raw product.

Our Mission

We understand that our clients have to live with and maintain the designs we provide, and that many clients ultimately have an end-user with specific needs that must be met. Balancing the needs of both the client and end-user is one of the most important factors in the overall success of a project.

– Brian Tannenhaus

We adhere to a simple “client first” philosophy where an extensive evaluation of both client and end-user needs are considered first and foremost in every project we undertake. This ensures each client will get the results they are looking for.
