As BD Engineering gets ready to celebrate 20 years in business we offer a variety of engineering services geared towards creating economical, practical and buildable solutions for our clients.

Managed by Brian Tannenhaus, P.E., and Ken Fry, P.E., we focus on electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and refrigeration engineering for all facility types in the private and public sectors, including corporate, academic, retail, healthcare, industrial, food processing, office, childcare and solar industries. We also offer services for state-funded projects, having been designated as a Small Business Enterprise and prequalified with the State of New Jersey, Division of Property Management and Construction.

When it comes to large-scale construction, there’s no time to error. So we engineered a 3-step system to drive the stupid out of construction. We ID potential roadblocks before a shovel ever hits the ground. We communicate nonstop to keep things moving. And accountability is always priority #1. The result?

Driving the Stupid Out of Construction in 3 Steps

Great builds don’t happen by chance. They happen by choice, discipline, and detail.

Our Mission

We understand that our clients have to live with and maintain the designs we provide, and that many clients ultimately have an end-user with specific needs that must be met. Balancing the needs of both the client and end-user is one of the most important factors in the overall success of a project.

– Brian Tannenhaus

We adhere to a simple “client first” philosophy where an extensive evaluation of both client and end-user needs are considered first and foremost in every project we undertake. This ensures each client will get the results they are looking for.
